History
Defendor
AB was founded under the name of Vapensmedjan Nilsson & Spuhr
by Håkan Spuhr and Anders Nilsson in 1996, and
it soon became known as one of the leading gunsmithing services in
Sweden. The company was sold to Mats Olsson in 1998, at which time the
company changed name to MilSec Defendor (to reflect it being part of
the MilSec group). MilSec Defendor also took over MilSec Scandinavia
AB’s role as the principal Glock dealer
in Sweden, supplying the Swedish Armed Forces, Coast Guard and Customs
Service with Glock pistols.
The
company went through an extensive change in 2003, when it hired on
additional employees and added prototype design, engineering and
mechanical processing to its core business. MilSec Defendor became
Defendor AB, and the company also assumed a number of principal
dealerships for internationally renowned products such as Smokecloak,
Telerob and TASER.
Vision
Defendor
will develop craft and networking into a profitable business.
At
that;
